Anua’s BHA 2% Gentle Exfoliating Toner is a gentle exfoliating toner with 2% salicylic acid (BHA) that helps remove dead skin cells, unclog pores and improve skin clarity. Its fragrance-free formula combines panthenol and six ceramides, which help preserve the hydration barrier, with tea tree extract and hyaluronic acid, which help soothe the skin. Unlike the Heartleaf 77% Soothing Toner and the Rice 70 Glow Milky Toner, it exfoliates: introduce it every 2 to 3 days; the Heartleaf 77 Clear Pad offers gentler PHA exfoliation, designed for daily use.

How to use it

1) After cleansing, pour the toner onto a cotton pad or your fingertips and gently apply it to the face and neck, avoiding the eye and lip areas.
2) Start with an application every 2 to 3 days and observe how your skin reacts.
3) Then adjust the frequency according to your skin’s tolerance.
4) If you use it in the morning, always apply SPF30 or higher sun protection.

💡 Tip: you can also apply it to body areas prone to blemishes, such as the back or chest.

At first, don’t combine it on the same day with other exfoliants: the Heartleaf 77 Clear Pad (PHA), the Niacinamide 10 TXA 4 Serum, Peach 70 Niacin Serum and Azelaic Acid 10 Hyaluron Redness Soothing Serum (which contain a mild BHA, Betaine Salicylate), AHAs or retinol. Alternate them, then combine them only if your skin tolerates this well.
A patch test is recommended beforehand, especially for sensitive or reactive skin.
Do not use on children under 3 years of age. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a healthcare professional for advice.
