1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit the Tea & Glow website. It is used in particular to:

  • ensure that the website functions properly,
  • remember your preferences,
  • improve your shopping experience.

2. What cookies do we use?

A. Necessary cookies

Essential for the website to work, they cannot be disabled and do not require consent (Article 5.3 of the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC):

  • Shopify: cart, session, security and payment;
  • Consentmo: remembering your cookie choices.

B. Preference cookies

They remember your choices (language, country) to offer you a more personalised experience.

C. Statistics cookies

They help us understand how visitors use the website, so that we can improve its performance: Shopify and Google audience measurement.

D. Marketing cookies

They allow us to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and to offer you offers and content suited to your interests: Google Ads (advertising and conversion tracking) and Klaviyo (emails personalised according to your browsing).

Preference, statistics and marketing cookies are only set after you have given your consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR).

Services built into the website

The support chat (Shopify Inbox), the Glow Club loyalty area (Smile.io) and the customer review widgets (Judge.me, Trustpilot) may use cookies or your browser’s storage to work, for example to keep your conversation or your Glow Club login.

Google and Klaviyo are based in the United States. These data transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission (Article 46 GDPR).

3. Consent Management

When you first visit our website, a cookie banner appears and allows you to:

  • accept all cookies,
  • refuse them or choose category by category, by opening “Preferences”.

Until you have made a choice, only necessary cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie manager, or by clearing the cookies in your browser: the banner will then appear again.

4. Retention period

Your cookie choice is kept for 6 months, after which the banner is shown to you again. The lifetime of other cookies depends on the service that sets them: from the length of your visit up to 2 years at most.

5. Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”),
  • Right to object to processing,
  • Right to restriction of processing,
